Abstract(in English) This paper describes the Japanese Bunsetsu analysis system ibuki based on the cost in a Bunsetsu unit and the system IBUKI-TEN which carries out the automatic translation of Japanese to Braille using the analysis result. The analysis accuracy over the EDR corpus of ibuki is about 98%. ibuki Ten Edit has the function to point out the possibility of a translation-into-braille error, and the translation-into-braille accuracy over the article in Braille-Mainichi is 98.9%. Moreover, the parts which had the possibility of a translation-into-braille error pointed out are about 6% of all texts, and when only this part was improved and proofread, they were able to raise the rate of a correct answer of leaving a space between words to 99.2%.
