Abstract(in English) We have developed a high-power two-wavelength cascaded Raman fiber laser suitable for a higher-order distributed Raman amplification. An intra-cavity configuration composed of a square-shaped double-clad Yb-doped fiber laser and small-core silicate fiber are used for highly efficient and high-power laser output. In addition, an all-fiber configuration is utilized for high-reliability. The maximum simultaneous output powers are 1.02W and 0.67W at the wavelength of 1344nm and 1389nm, respectively, with the optical efficiency of 12%. The developed Raman fiber laser was applied for a dual-order Raman amplification and a 1 dB improved OSNR was also confirmed.
