Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) The optical fiber has been applied to many systems such as communication, light measurement, etc.. However, a multimode fiber has a problem of speckle noise, when using laser source. This gives rise to new problem when we it practically be applied. In this study, the speckle noise patterns were observed to make clear their characteristics with regard to the miss-match of optic axis and an experimental study was carried out on the influence of deformation. In addition, the speckle noise pattern was measured by using the digital logic operation, and its characterization was partly clarified.
