Abstract(in English) | We have successfully fabricated a 100 GHz-spacing 8-channel light source integrated with gratings and LDs on a planar lightwave circuit platform. We incorporated silicone to compensate for the temperature coefficient and we controlled the longitudinal mode wavelength with UV irradiation. We obtained mode-hopping-free single-mode oscillations, precisely-controlled wavelengths and sufficient output power of more than 1.5 mW at 80 mA. Then we confirmed 2.5Gb/s direct modulation in every channel and we measured the power penalty with modulation of adjacent channel. |
