Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) The generation of 2-20GHz microwave signal from two optical signals using optical heterodyne technique is described. To stabilize a microwave signal, the frequency discriminator used the delay self-homodyne technique was composed. The frequency error signal from the discriminator was made to return to one of the laser diodes. And the heterodyne signal was stabilized. Furthermore, second loop using a personal computer is added to offset to a desired frequency, and to enhance long term frequency stability.
