Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) We consider a method to estimation of human body (so called "motion capture") in the pictures captured by a video camera. Existing motion capture system, have two problems: requiring some equipments attached to the target person, and being complicated by using multiple cameras. We design a more simple motion capture system using detection of characteristic body points on a 2-dimensional image, and estimation of motion from these characteristic points by model fitting of the human body, and continuity of movement. In this paper, the estimation problem is mainly discussed.
