Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) We propose an analog network for shape recognition based on the visual systems of flogs which is called Ewert's window-interaction model and the performance function which can discriminate the shape. It was shown, with the simulation program of integrated circuit emphasis (SPICE), that the proposed network constructed with simple circuits can detect simple features : circle, square, triangle and rectangle. The network is integrated with the network for detection of an approaching object. The results with the SPICE indicated that the integrated network can detect an approaching object independent of the shape.
