Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) This paper proposes a routing protocol for Layer-2 wireless mesh networks that derive the route selection mechanism based on radio metrics with multiple radio interface devices. We modified Ad-hoc On-demand Distance Vector routing to achieve high frequency usage efficiency and fair radio-interface usage using the characteristics of Carrier Sensing Multiple Access Collision Avoidance (CSMA-CA) that is utilized in IEEE802.11 system. We present details pertaining to the protocol and evaluate the performance in both computer simulation and laboratory experiments.
