Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) Recently, Low-Density Parity-Check (LDPC) codes which can achieve the performance near the Shannon limit with Sum-Product decoding algorithm are studied to apply to some wireless communication systems. To increase the bit rate of wireless communication systems, it is required to improve the reliability of the communication over M-ary QAM, and we have already proposed the method to search the degree distribution for M-ary QAM. In this paper, we propose the construction method and mapping method of LDPC codes for M-ary QAM regarding with the degree distribution for M-ary QAM and the structure of Low-Density Generation Matrix (LDGM). We evaluated the performance of our proposed method using a computer simulation, and we confirmed that our proposed method was effective.
