A Study of Call Control Algorithm for Adaptive Array Antenna

Abstract(in English) Adaptive Array Antenna (AAA) is useful for increasing frequency efficiency in cellular systems. In the case of introducing the AAA, the call control algorithm which accepts a new call or not is very significant. We propose a call control algorithm when AAA is adopted. The algorithm predicts all users' quality in case that a new call is accepted, and accepts a new call only when the predicted quality satisfies required quality. The characteristics of proposed algorithm is clarified under real traffic condition in W-CDMA system.
