Coaxial feed type microstrip patch antenna with antenna hight variability

Abstract(in English) We propose new type of microstrip antenna which combines antenna with mechatoronics technology. This microstrip antenna may move it's height mechanically by devising supply part of the coaxial feed line. By changing antenna's height, we confirmed that we can tune patch antenna's resonant frequency for about 10% ,thus it is acting as tunable antenna. Also, by using high permittivity dielectric, such as Alumina, it may tune antenna's resonant frequency for more an octave.
