Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) The transmission power control method which equalizes channel gain and stabilize received power has been popular since CDMA mobile communication systems got on the stage. We have been studied the power control method from the point of view of maximazing channel capacity. As a result, it has been clear that the power control method which increase the transmission power when the channel attenuation becomes small and decrease the transmission power when the channel attenuation becomes large, can increase the channel capacity. The increased channel capacity which varies with slow fading can be full used by controling the coding rate dynamically.
