A Study on PSK-VP FER Performance for Application to ITS Road to Vehicle Communication

Abstract(in English) In road-to-vehicle communication, the distributed antenna system, which can extend the radio coverage without extra outside emission and handoff, can realize high-capacity and reliable radio transmission to high-speed vehicles. We have proposed the distributed antenna system combined with anti-multipath modulation scheme PSK-VP which is robust against the rapid multipath fading due to interferences from multiple antennas. In this paper, we have evaluated FER performance by computer/hardware simulation. From the evaluation results using extended frame-format of ARIB STD-T75, we have confirmed that the system has excellent FER performance by path-diversity effect of PSK-VP.
