Abstract(in English) | We propose a novel threshold ring signature scheme, where the verifier can be convinced that the signatures, as ordinary threshold (ring) signatures, were produced by the collaboration of at least t anonymous signers (among n possible signers), while he can be also convinced that the number of the collaborators was at most t′ (t≦t′). We formalize the notion of this threshold signature scheme, denoted a (t, t′, n)-ranged threshold signature scheme. In case t=t′, we call it an exact t-out-of-n threshold signature scheme. Our scheme can be constructed based only on an ordinary discrete-logarithm setting. No stronger primitive such as pairing cryptosystems are necessary. |
