Abstract(in English) We designed a meander line antenna for 5GHz band wireless local area network (WLAN) terminals. The size of the designed antenna has been 5mm×5mm patterned on the substrate with the thickness of 0.6mm. Directivity of the designed antenna was simulated and measured with image method, which was employed to reduce influences of radiation from feed line. Radiation pattern of the designed antenna was similar to pattern of simulation. The measured maximum gain of the designed antenna was to be -2.3dBi with degradation of 4dBi from the simulation result.
