Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) SR(Selective-Repeat) ARQ(Automatic Repeat reQuest) is used to recover packet errors on a wireless link effectively. SR ARQ has a problem of bursty packet output derived from the resequencing function. This report shows analysis on the distributions of the number of packets in a burst and burst intervals. It also presents average burst interval between bursts of which size is larger than a specific value and it confirms the analysis by comparing numerical results with simulations. If the resequencing is not performed, out-of-order packets occur. This report evaluates the distribution of the number of out-of-order packets for such case.
