Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) On the basis of a rigorous electromagnetic analysis by the Ritz-Galerkin, the measurement method using a TM010 mode cylindrical cavity with a dielectric sample in the center, is effective as the method of measuring complex permittivity (relative permittivity er and loss tangent tand) of not only the solid but also the liquid. In this report, the complex permittivity dependence is measured as a function of the ethanol concentration to water, by this method. Using these measured results, alcohol concentration of some kinds of liquors on the market can be estimated from the complex permittivity measurements of these liquors.
