Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) A size scaling-rule and structual optimization of planar spiral inductors are estimated by using closed-form expression where spiral inductors are modeled with appropriate parasitic components. It is found that there is a size-reduction limit that maximizes quality factor of the inductor when the occupation area is reduced while keeping the inductance and the center frequency of the quality factor constant. Moreover, a relation of the trade-off of amoung the inductance, Q value, and the self-resonant frequency is caused in various modulation structure for an occupation constant area.
