Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) When the speed of communication signal propagating through a UTP cable goes high, electromagnetic field radiated from a UTP cable may become a problem. Thus, as one of the analysis methods, it was reported that the method of using 4 ports network model was effective in the frequency of 1GHz or less. However it has not been cleared whether this method is effective in the frequency of more than 1GHz. In this report, therefore, we analyzed the radiated emission in the frequency of 1GHz or more by using this method, and discussed its applicability by comparing with the measured value and the calculated one with the wire grid model. As the result, it has been revealed that the analysis method of using four ports network model, under the condition given in this report, is not applicable to the frequency of 1.5GHz or more.
