Improvement of Calculation Time for Estimating Electromagnetic Disturbance Level Using Radiation Source Modeling Method

Abstract(in English) It has been reported that, when we measures radiated emission based on the standard of information technology equipment, correlativity is not acquired between the result at 3m distance and that at 10m distance. Since there are a lot of facilities to measure at 3m distance, it is important to study a method of predicting radiation level at 10m distance from the measurement result at 3m distance. One of the methods is by using the source modeled from the measurement result at 3m distance. This method needs much analysis time, thus it could be applied only to a few frequency. In this report, in order to predict the radiation level in the whole frequency from 30MHz to 1000MHz, the relation between prediction accuracy and modeling conditions was evaluated, and the calculation speed was improved. Using this result, firstly practicality was evaluated using an imitated equipment. When frequency range from 30MHz to 1000MHz was divided into 401 points, 180 minutes calculation made it possible to predict the radiation level with the comparable accuracy as the previous method. Secondly in the case for a PC, relating the frequency of 130 points with a high possibility of exceeding the standard, 60 minutes calculation made it possible to that. Moreover, in the frequency from 100MHz to 300MHz of vertical polarization, we could obtain a result better than the calculation value by 1/r.
