Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) Recent progress of home networks is increasing the interest for high-speed power-line communication (PLC) because this does not need to construct the new communication line. Usually, the influence to radio receiver is evaluated by the quasi-peak and the mean values. However, it is not clarified whether the influence of PLC signals can be evaluated by these values because PLC system is employing OFDM. In this paper, the influence of PLC signal to amplitude modulation was investigated. The peak, quasi-peak, and mean values of signal generated from PLC modem was measured. The PLC signals was mixes to the amplitude-modulated signal by various sound sources, and the quality of the demodulated signal was evaluated using the mean opinion score (MOS) as a parameter of the C/N ratio. The results indicated that the similar affect was obtained for the signal modulated by various sound sources. Furthermore, This show that this was almost agree with the MOS values which were obtained when the disturbances were a white noise and 1kHz 80% amplitude-modulated signal. This means that that the influence to the radio receiver can be evaluated by the quasi-peak and the mean value as well as other disturbances.
