Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) A secure and dynamic group management system for information appliance networks is proposed. With the deployment of information appliance networks, the standardization of the protocol and the development of security and authentication required for the networks are critical problems. Functions to control the access to the home network and to change the services for each user are demanded. Because P2P (Peer-to-Peer) users communicate with each other without the server, they are flexibly networked. We propose and implement a dynamic group management system of information appliance networks provided with user authentication and access control functions, using an open source P2P protocol JXTA.
