Evaluation of QoS-aware Routing in Overlay Network

Abstract(in English) A recent trend in routing research is using overlay routing to improve end-to-end QoS performance without changing network level architecture. This technology finds detour, which can avoid congested points, using overlay network. It is important to evaluate calculation cost to find such detour to realize the technology. So, this paper evaluated how much the technology can be effective when the number of candidate of detour is limitted. The result of evaluation find that the technology is effective if we limit the candidate of detour appropriately.
