| Abstract(in English) | We fabricated the alumina nanohole perpendicular recording patterned media by optimizing the conditions for anodization, electrodeposition and surface polishing. After assuring stable head flying, we have succeeded in measuring the write/read characteristics using a merge-type GMR head. We also investigated the dependence of write/read characteristics on the magnetic properties of the media by varying the aspect ratio of the nanohole and analyzed the cause of media noise. |
