Abstract(in English) | The roll of imaging technologies on the development of magnetic recording is reviewed, focusing on the thin-film recording media technology. The microstructure, microscopic compositional structure, and magnetic domain structure of thin film recording media have been successfully visualized by utilizing electron microscopes and related technologies. The outline of the imaging technologies are briefly explained by citing the early-day data. |
