Abstract(in Japanese) | (See Japanese page) |
Abstract(in English) | Recording devices are indispensable for broadcasting system. For the flow of program production and transmission, current system using magnetic tapes is assumed to be replaced with network system combined with video servers. Tapeless recording devices using hard disk(s), optical disk(s) or IC memories are developed one after another. This trend is still more remarkable for consumer storages. Above all, hard disk drive carries large capacity more and more and lowers the cost less and less, so the role of it is increasing remarkably as storage devices for multi media. |
