Abstract(in English) | 3rd generation mobile system (3G) has been really accelerated and the related technology is also drastically developed. Furthermore, the research and development toward 4th generation mobile system (4G) has been evolving to create much higher mobile network and support ubiquitous network. In this presentation, the present status of 3G services "FOMA" is introduced with service examples and a variety of handsets. In addition, the overview of HSDPA and Super 3G as a migration from 3G to 4G and new technologies to meet 4G system will be highlighted. | |
