Abstract(in English) In automobiles, because of increasing the demand of visual data transmission and sensing data transmission and so on, data-rate has become higher and higher. At the same time, because of increasing the number of instruments, network is guessed that it should advance more. For higher rate transmission system, PCS (Polymer Clad Silica), which optical fiber's core diameter is 0.2mm, has been preparing to use, and for advanced network, we thought that a topology with optical coupler had a possibility to be introduced. Our optical coupler was considered the productivity, and the polymer optical waveguide was contained without any alignment process or parts. Besides, we considered easy assembly process, and we designed it as optical coupling between PCS and optical waveguide could be done with only the process of one-touch connector locking.
