Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) Conditional relations consist of tuples which are associated with conditional formula, which describes certain constraints of the tuple. Using conditional relations, it is possible to assign different semantic constraints to each tuple. Therefore conditional relations can be used for integrating databases having heterogeneous semantic constraints. It is also useful for imteractive applications where each user is given a personalized constraint. In the previous report, we proposed the Dynamic View Algebra (DVA) for manipulating conditional relations. In this paper, we show algorithms for processing DVA queries, and we also describe a DVA evaluator and its performance results.
