Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) It is not practical for those, who are willing to participate to EC, to consume excessive time and cost for the preparation. It is desired to be able to commence EC by simply choosing a particular scenario from the standardized set of senarios. This paper describes the overview of Open-edi Reference Model that was established for the aim by ISO in 1997, of which the abstraction was also standardized by JIS in 1998. In addition, a consideration is given to the guideline for the next generation of UN/EDIFACT, which is still under discussion.
