Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) Recently, prompt data renewal method is requested in GIS application fields. This paper describes a quasi real-time map renewal method using spatio-temporal GIS. On this method, water supply network or road edge are surveying when the construction work is doing, then the result data are imported to spatio-temporal GIS. By this method, quasi real-time map renewal is achieved. When the data are imported, duration information is added to each entity. Using this information, the map specified time of interest is restored. The system described in this paper attribute information which is managed by DBMS is also retrieved under specified time of interest.
