Abstract(in English) | In this paper, we describe the management of user-context for the next generation Course Management System for higher education. Recently, in North American institutions, CMS like WebCT has been commonly used as the educational information infrastructure. However, the usage of CMS in Japanese institutions is still very behind compared with that of North American institutions. To advance the use of IT in Japanese higher educational institutions, our ULAN project is focusing on user-context awareness of CMS as an advanced research project for the next-generation CMS development. |
