Abstract(in English) | The advance of database and web-based content delivery technology has been bringing about revolution in college education. As classroom based lectures are the most important part of residential college education it is critical to implement detailed information management so as to support effective student-instructor communications for the classroom environment. To this end, in this paper, we describe a web-based classroom environment, called WTS (Web-based Teaching Support System). One of the salient features of the proposed system is that it allows sharing of a classroom view between teachers and students. With this feature, students can experience the presence in a classroom later and teachers become easy to distinguish the names and faces of their students, which is important for them to establish good relationship with students. |
