Abstract(in English) | This paper evaluates the ranging accuracy of ToA(time-of-arrival)-based ranging algorithm using ultra wideband (UWB) signals. The ranging accuracy is dominated by detection scheme and post-integration processing at the receiver side. We evaluate it through computer simulations on AWGN and IEEE802.15.4a multipath fading models. Additonaly, we propose a ranging algorithm that can provide higher ranging accuracy by considering the time duration of transmitting UWB pulses. |
