Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) As Japan now has her own e-government recommended cipher list, is seeking the possibilities to have her own Cryptographic Module Validation Program (CMVP). We investigate the original CMVP established by National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) and Communications Security Establishment (CSE) as well as transition plans proposed by the Information-Technology Promotion Association Japan (IPA), and suggest the most beneficial directions.
