| 抄録(和) | ポインティングデバイスの使いやすさを定量的に把握するために, 6種類のポインティングデバイスに対して, 異なる性質をもった指示対象における評価実験を行った.評価実験として客観評価と主観評価を行い, 客観評価ではクリックとドラッグの2つの操作を対象とし, 主観評価ではアンケートを実施した.クリックについてはターゲットに面積があるもの, 面積のあるターゲットにペナルティエリアがあるもの, ターゲットに面積がないものの3種類を対象として実験を行った.また, 被験者1人について学習効果も調べた.これら5つの評価実験の結果から, 年齢, 機器の違い, 指示対象の特性, 学習効果の4つの変動要因が評価結果に影響を及ぼすということが分かった. |
| 抄録(英) | We have proposed a new method for the evaluation of pointing devices in consideration of the characteristics of targets and applied it to comparative study of six kinds of pointing devices. The new evaluation methods consist of objective evaluation using time measurement programs for click and drag and subjective evaluation using questionnaire. For the time measurement for click, we created three different programs for three different types of targets, that is, squares with and without penalty areas and crossing point of horizontal and vertical lines. We also investigated the effect of learning. The test results indicated that users' age, device type, characteristics of targets and term of learning affect the evaluation results. |
