| Abstract(in English) | We will propose an aid system to consult the finger-reading town map for the blind and visually impaired people staying out of doors. We have also been developing the system. The system under constructing is constituted by a one chip micro computer, a global positioning system and a touch panel with the map which will be specially made and marked by projection of roads and landmarks. The user, who touch the map by a finger, is able to locate the position on the map obeying beep of a buzzer. Then the user is able to route to the destination by the finger reading of the map. |
