Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) Although there are various communication methods for the deaf blind, Finger Braille seems to be the best suited to real-time communication. However, there are still few deaf blind people who can use Finger Braille, because it is difficult to learn for both the deaf blind and care workers. Therefore, a training system of Finger Braille is desired. About the interface, it is necessary for a deaf blind person to be able to use a PC alone. Now, a braille display and a Finger Braille output unit can be used as output units for the deaf blind. As a case study, we investigated the PC environment of two deaf blind people about the output devices.
