NICT Digital Terrestrial Television Broadcasting Test Bed : A study of the propagation path models for mobile reception and handy phone

Abstract(in English) In Japan, Digital terrestrial television broadcasting has been started since December 2004. After that, a partial reception system will be start at end of March in 2006 for mobile users and personal handy phone users. We were preparing the experiment systems for DTTB using experiment for the mobile reception and personal handy phone. They have three transmutation stations with save number of channel. They are used for single frequency network experiment, Gap filler experiment and multi-path propagation experiment that can use in real field. In this paper, we describe the propagation path models for mobile reception and handy phone systems.
