Scalable QoS degradtion locating

Abstract(in English) We have proposed a method to locating the QoS degradation points from end-to-end per flow quality information and network routing information. This existing method, however, needs to process whole network information at once. This makes the method difficult to be applied for the large networks because the number of flows and the routing information becomes huge in such networks. In this paper, we propose a scalable locating method. It divides the network into small networks, and combines both the results of locating from the intra-network flow (intra-network locating) and the results of locating from the subset of inter-network flows (intra-network locating). In the proposed method, because the intra-network locating can be parallelized and the inter-network locating uses only the subset of intra-network flows, the time required to locate the degraded points is expected to be reduced significantly. In the simulation, we will show that the proposed method can accelerate the speed of locating more than the order of magnitude at most while the accuracy of the proposed method is equivalent to the existing method.
