Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) If IP technology is applied to the mobile networks, IP multicast can be received on the wireless environment. The IP multicast reception methods on mobile networks are standardized as two methods in RFC of Mobile IP. One is the Bi-directional Tunneled multicast method, and the other is the Remote-Subscription method. However, some problems are pointed out for both methods. The Remote-Subscription method has a problem that a mobile node losses some packets because of the reentrance to the multicast group when it moves to another mobile network. This paper proposes an IP multicast reception method on mobile networks that minimize the packet losses by previously joining the multicast group on the router of a movement network. And we propose a leaving method that leaves from the multicast group on its previous network after a mobile node has moved and evaluates our proposal methods.
