Abstract(in English) When searching a corresponding point, template size is decided in many cases experientially. In this report, the stochastic properties of the residual are used and it is shown that the optimal template size exists for every image for search. The method of choosing it automatically is proposed and this is applied to a medical image. The effect of the proposed method is confirmed.
