Abstract(in English) In this paper, VMC(Vehicle Mobile Convergence) Concept for Advanced ITSservice is explained. VMC is a high-level concept to increase safety and security by integratingthe 3G cellular technologies and car electronics, ITS. Various example such as FOMA swich-phone service, hands-free service andFELICA are introduced. VMC is under the framework of u-JAPAN policy to achieve ubiquitous network by the year 2010.
