Abstract(in English) | In 2004, ten typhoons made landfall on Japan and suffered noticeable damage at all over Japan, especially western area. Severe damage to various buildings and structures occurred due to high wind during typhoon passing. The damage to roof cladding or roof system of a large-scale building was remarkable. Investigation on these damages of buildings is considered to be useful to prevent and to mitigate from similar damages. |
