Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) Transmission characteristics are investigated for a set of Fabry-Perot Etalons utilizing wavelength dependent mirrors designed for an optical frequency division multiplexed system unified for broadcasting and communication. FSR values in the 1.55μm wavelength region were found to coincide with the designed ones within a 1% deviation. The total waveguide losses were found to be 18~25dB and 34~42dB at wavelengths of 1.32μm and 1.55μm, respectively. A Guideline for the system design to suppress the wavelength dependent loss difference is also given.
