Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) Electrooptical properties are investigated in the PDLC films made with various UV intensities and irradiation times. The UV irradiation time to attain the maximum memory transmittance and the minimum driving voltage is clarified for each UV intensity. The change of resistance of PDLC film is also measured as a function of time while the phase separation is advanced. As the result, the optimization of UV irradiation time can be attained by monitoring the sample resistance.
