| 抄録(和) | 本研究では、ブースティングに遺伝的特徴選択を取り入れた遺伝的ブースティングを提案する。著者らがこれまでに提案してきた遺伝的特徴選択は、パターン分類における訓練パターンの分類難易度を評価し、それを軽減させるような特徴選択を実現するものである。遺伝的ブースティングは、この考え方をさらに発展させるために、ブースティングと遺伝的特徴選択を組み合わせた新しいパターン分類手法として提案される。本稿では、いくつかのテスト問題に提案手法を適用し、その有効性について検証する。 |
| 抄録(英) | We propose an extension of the boosting method, namely, evolutionary boosting (EB), by introducing a concept of the evolutionary index selection (EIS). The EIS, which has been proposed by the authors, selects effective combinations of indices for pattern-classification tasks using an evolutionary method. The EB is a new classification method based on the integration of the EIS and the boosting. In this paper, we apply our method to some benchmark problems and discuss the effectiveness of the proposed method. |
