Abstract(in English) | A rigorous method for analyzing electromagnetic property of two-dimensional photonic crystals composed of parallel metal rods with arbitrary cross section is proposed. A very simple formula to calculate the scattered fields is presented in closed form. Numerical results show that the convergence is very fast and the accuracy is very high. Since the solution is obtained in matrix form, they are easily applied to multilayer system. |
