Evironmental Robustness in Speech Recognition

Abstract(in English) This paper reviews the researches on noise robust speech recognition which have been done by the author. The studies on speech recognition front-end include Mel-LPC analysis and a sepctral interpolation method of low SNR frequency bands in spectral subtraction. The studies on the decoding stage consist of the weighted group delay spectral distance for DTW-based speech recognition, the frequency weighted HMM and the variance expanded HMM.
