Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) This paper proposes a method for data embedding to printing images based on data diffusion in DCT region. To improve performance of extraction, several embedding positions for same data are prepared and an adjustment method for gain coefficients is also considered. The simulation result by the proposed method for gray-scale images shows the robustness for an image scanner and, especially a digital camera. The extension to color images and a control method for gain coefficients are also considered. In the simulation example for color images, the proposed method gives the good image quality and the extraction rate, and the validity of the proposed method is shown.
